GEOMETRY IN RUPTURE

Geometry in Rupture examines what remains when an ordered geometric system begins to fracture. The works emerge from a sustained investigation of geometry as a structure of perception, but here the stability of that structure is interrupted: lines break, forms fragment, axes lose their continuity, and previously coherent relationships become uncertain. Geometry does not disappear; it persists as fragments, traces, intervals, and residual coordinates within a field shaped by material contingency. The cracked and layered surfaces further complicate this relationship between order and instability, making the material surface an active participant in the construction of the image. Across the series, fragmentation becomes not an absence of structure but a transformation of it—an opening in which new relationships can emerge from what has been disrupted.
