THE X SERIES

The X Series explores intersection as a fundamental condition of structure, perception, and becoming. Across these works, the X emerges not as a fixed symbol but as a dynamic point where opposing trajectories meet, cross, and generate new spatial relationships. Diagonal lines converge with vertical and horizontal axes, creating moments of tension, balance, instability, and transformation. Beneath these structures, fractured and layered surfaces introduce an element of contingency, allowing the geometry to remain open rather than fully resolved. The paintings move between visibility and absence, structure and dissolution, suggesting that order is not static but continually formed through the encounter of competing forces. In this series, the X becomes a site of convergence—a place where opposing directions do not cancel one another, but produce the possibility of something new.
